We are pleased to announce that an international advisory committee has been established.
The membership is

- Jean-Pierre Bourgignon, Institut Hautes Etudes Sciences, Paris
- Mark Green, University of California Los Angeles
Professor Bourgignon chaired the International Review of Canadian Mathematics in 1995, and chaired the panel for EPSRC’s International Review of UK Mathematics in 2003. Professors Green and Berger are both members of the committee for the National Academies’ project “The Mathematical Sciences in 2025″; Professor Green serves as Vice-Chair.
This committee will be consulted regularly during the development of the long range plan, particularly for their views on how the plan reflects global developments in mathematical and statistical science.
